Mount Mahawu is an active stratovolcano type volcano as high as 1,311 meters above sea level in Tomohon, North Sulawesi, which is famous for its green sulfur crater with a diameter of 180 meters. This mountain is popular for short climbs (± 1 hour) because of the concrete stairs that make it easy for visitors to see panoramic views of Tomohon City, Manado Tua and Bunaken.
